Point your MCP client at the server URL and approve access in the browser. The server accepts a Client ID Metadata Document (CIMD), so the client authenticates with its own hosted URL as the client_id — nothing to register.

Docs →Canva SCIM access token Sign in to Canva, open Account settings, then under your team's settings go to SSO & provisioning. Under SCIM, enable SCIM user provisioning and copy the access token. Only team administrators and owners can generate it. Toggling the setting revokes the old token and creates a new one.
Canva CLI auth token
Install @canva/cli, then run canva login. Canva opens a browser page where you click Allow, then paste the confirmation code back into the CLI. The CLI generates an auth token and stores it locally in the .canva-cli directory; canva logout revokes and deletes it. This interactive login is the primary setup path.
