Anthropic API key setup

  1. Open the Anthropic Console API Keys page.
  2. Click Create key.
  3. Give the key a clear name (for example: operator-app).
  4. Copy the key immediately and store it in Operator.
  5. (Recommended) Set a spend limit for the key and keep the key scoped to what you need.

Example

Use the new key for Operator by choosing Anthropic → API Key in Connect, then pasting it into the credential form.
